My name is Jess Silverio-Furtado.  I am an interior designer from New York City seeking a career opportunity.  I have lived in Sydney, Australia for five years learning the culture, customs and the diversity of people. Currently looking for a new and challenging position to add to my international skills, one which will make the best use of my existing innovative skills in Healthcare Interior Design/Medical experiences and also further my personal and professional development.

I received my Masters of Professional Studies in Healthcare Interior Design in 2014 and my Bachelor's in Interior Design in 2013 from the New York School of Interior Design.

 

As a design team member in design projects at Ellucian Australia Pty Ltd., Gilmore Interior Design, PMG Group, La Mer Group, and various interior design firms in New York City. I had great opportunities to work start to finish on a number of commercial design projects using concept development, design research, programming and space planning, schematic design, construction documents (AutoCAD) and design development using conceptual sketches, AutoCAD, Photoshop, a few Revit and hand/3D renderings to show visual and graphical presentation.

In addition to the above my technical skills include medical terminology, FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials utilizing LEED/green products, Healthcare Facilities Guidelines Institute protocols and Evidence-Based Design in the US.
